Build 28. Plumbing Part 4 - Finishing the Water Loop

The last job was to finish off the water loop and fit the submarine part. I deviated a little from the manual here and chose to fit the submarine the other way to what it suggests. This was mainly due to the fact that the wiring would not reach unless I did this, I even had to take the engine cover off to get myself a little bit more slack in the wiring. I don't think there is a rule on which way it goes as the part is just an open pipe with a temperature sender inside it. Be sure to measure your pipes before cutting them and do not follow the cutting steps in the manual as it will be too short!

Once I had it in place and the wiring connected, I chose to cable tie it up to secure it in place. This would start a chain of going over the engine and tidying all the wiring and pipes up as I go.

Once the submarine was fitted to the car, I then fitted the final piece of the water expansion hose which I chose to tie to the oil pipe (hopefully this will not get too hot but if it does I might choose to create a void between the pipes by wrapping the tied areas in some left over piping),
